ARDCI conducts training on crime prevention, managing natural disasters
In response to extensive robbery-related crimes and calamities affecting the operations, ARDCI designed a training entitled “ARDCI and the Neighborhood: Orientation on Coping with Natural Disaster, Crimes and its Prevention” conducted last August 8, 2008 at Head Office Training Room.

The training aimed to orient Community Development Officers, Cashiers and other branch staff who are mostly prone to hold-ups and robbery incidents and educate them how to manage in preventing and coping with such incidents in the actual situation.

Among the invited speakers who was on top of lecturing the crime management was Supt. Adelio Castillo, PNP Deputy Provincial Commander who dished out firsthand instructions on preventing and  managing crime scene like hold-up and robbery incidents.
Another speaker from Provincial Fire Department was Insp. Rico Brizuela, Municipal Fire Marshall who talked about fire prevention and coping while on the fire accident. Mr. Neil Vargas, Red Cross administrator- Virac branch, is the last speaker who lectured on natural disasters and means of coping while on danger.

“Catandunaes is a typhoon prone province and now we are also envisaging crimes like robberies and hold-ups. These are natural and man made problems we are encountering in operations and we find fit strategy to prevent or at least cope with it through linking with government agencies with knowledge on it”, Chief Executive Officer Danil B. Tiburcio said.

“This will help not only our front liners but also our community members by sharing this knowledge whenever they go down to the SLS centers”, he added.
